Firmware status

Latest update: 22 August 2026. Some motherboards had block issues with our previous firmware build. We have a new device that fixes this for most users. If you are affected, open a ticket in our Discord and ask for new firmware. No newer detection has been posted since.

Need new firmware?

  1. Join our Discord and open a ticket in the support channel, pick Firmware.
  2. Send in one message: your order number with the email or name on the order, your DNA ID as text and your card type (75T or 100T). How to get your DNA ID: guide.
  3. New firmware is usually ready within 1 to 48 hours. Under warranty, replacement firmware after a detection is free.

2026

  • 22 Aug: Some motherboards had block issues with our latest firmware. A new device fixes this for most users; request new firmware in your ticket.
  • 2 Aug: EAC/BE/ACE/RICOCHET Emulated Firmware detected and blocked on EAC. New firmware available for customers under warranty.
  • 25 Jun: EAC/BE/ACE/RICOCHET Emulated Firmware detected and blocked on EAC. New firmware available for customers under warranty.
  • 3 Apr: All tiers updated with firmware that works on all motherboards. Your main PC must run Windows 11.
  • 18 Mar: EAC firmware blocked on Rust, the other EAC games are expected to follow. A new device is already working.
  • 5 Jan: On certain motherboards the latest firmware caused blocks or other issues. New firmware is available for affected users; if yours works fine, no action is needed.

2025

  • 5 Dec: Working devices for all firmware tiers again.
  • 5 Dec: New EAC firmware in testing.
  • 3 Dec: Blocked on EAC, no ETA for new firmware yet. Firmware for players who don't play EAC games can still be made.
  • 1 Dec: Multiple reports of blocks on EAC, no ban reports. Waiting for the developer to confirm.
  • 26 Nov: Working devices for all firmware tiers again.
  • 18 Nov: Under investigation: stable for most Intel users and some AMD users. The developer is working on a fix for users who are still blocked.
  • 16 Nov: Block reports: in our tests 1 of 6 users was blocked. Troubleshooting in tickets.
  • 12 Nov: Firmware deliveries going out. For 1 to 3 days, delivery could take 24 to 72 hours instead of 1 to 48.
  • 6 Nov: Blocked on at least Rust (other EAC games not tested). No ban reports. This device is no longer used.
  • 5 Nov: Working devices for all firmware tiers again.
  • 30 Oct: Blocked on all EAC games: DMA does not work while the anti-cheat is active. No ban reports.
  • 28 Oct: Reports of blocks on Rust EAC only, being tested.
  • 20 Oct: Working devices for all firmware tiers again.
  • 17 Oct: Detected on Rust EAC, Fortnite and Apex expected to follow. Work on new devices has started.
  • 4 Oct: New firmware released, undetected.
  • 1 Oct: Detected on Rust EAC.
  • 30 Sep: Reports of issues on Rust EAC.
  • 20 Sep: New firmware released for extra safety on EAC, available under warranty.
  • 16 Sep: Working again on EAC. New firmware available under warranty.
  • 16 Sep: Firmware detected on EAC.
  • 15 Sep: Some bans reported (under 5% of users), only on EAC games. Being tested.
  • 10 Sep: Confirmed working on Fortnite and Rust EAC. Our firmware was not affected by the ban wave.
  • 10 Sep: Reports of an EAC ban wave. Tested in Fortnite: working.
  • 5 Sep: New firmware released. DNA IDs sent in the last 3 days are already with the developer.
  • 5 Sep: Blocked/detected in Rust. Fortnite still safe, but its EAC is expected to update soon.
  • 5 Sep: Reports of an EAC ban wave, not confirmed for our firmware.
  • 1 Sep: Working devices for all firmware tiers.
